If you are struggling in any area of your mind, body, spirit, or soul, I want to encourage you to pray in the Spirit as well as your native tongue.

I pray with my understanding in English yet I depend upon the Holy Spirit to pray through me as I pray.

God knows exactly what we need.

#Pray in the Spirit.

Acts 2:4

And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Romans 8:26

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities:for we know not what we should pray for as we ought:

but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

When We Pray

When We Pray
                     © 2026 Debbie Turner Chavers

When we pray we go all around the world.

~Debbie 🌻

Jesus said to go into all the world and preach the gospel. Each believer is commissioned to go and tell.

Prayer is vital to receiving direction from the LORD.

The map of His Will is laid out in scripture. The leading of the Holy Spirit shows us, stirs us, and gives us clear direction in our prayer time. The undergirding of prayer gives feet to the Word moving forth.

We have been given new tongues and eyes of understanding to share the good news of the kingdom of God.

Mark 16:15-18

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature .

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;

but he that believeth not shall be damned.

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils, they shall speak with new tongues.

They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Harvest- John 4:35

                              Harvest- John 4:35

No man knows the day nor the hour when the harvest is ready. Only the Lord of the harvest knows the time. The Word of God is planted in men’s hearts. The door is open and waiting for all who would enter into the labor of the Lord’s fields.

Continue to sow the seed of the Word of God.

The Word sown in good soil shall bring forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. There will be a harvest.

Matthew 13:9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

The parable of the seed in Mark 4:26-29

And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground: and should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself: first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. But when the fruit is brought forth; immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.

This planting and reaping plays out continually until death. Our walk in Christ is like a field that has his word (seed) sown and planted in our life.

Our layers of understanding ripen and reveal fruit. This fruit is cut and dispensed by the Lord of the harvest. The Lord grows us up, maturing us daily in His Presence, filling us with His wisdom and power.

John 4:35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? Behold I say unto you, Lift up your eyes and look on the fields: for they are white unto harvest.

Matthew 9:37-38 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few: Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth laborers into his harvest.

Matthew 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers. Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Let’s pray:

Father God, our times and our seasons are in your hands. Jesus told us to ask for laborers to be sent into the fields, so we are asking.

Lord of the harvest, send forth laborers into your harvest.

In Jesus name. Amen.
